Global Innovation: The New Health Landscape

Under the theme “When Geopolitical Issues Disrupt Access to Innovation Worldwide,” this annual Leem and OIF meeting will discuss the ingredients of supportive healthcare innovation ecosystems and the opportunities for Francophone countries to strengthen their health systems and economies through innovation.

Opening remarks include:

• Henri Monceau, Permanent Representative of the OIF to the United Nations in Geneva and Vienna
• Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, invited

Panel speakers include:

• Karim Bendhaou, President of Merck’s Africa Board
• Safiatou Tata Coulibaly, Research Fellow at the Molecular Genetics Platform of the Pasteur Institute of Cote d’Ivoire and currently affiliated with the University of Chicago
• Marieme Gueye, Researcher in Biofabrication and Regenerative Medicine, Utrecht University

The panel will be moderated by Tina Kraszkowski Gereral and followed by a Q&A with ministers present.
