World Heart Summit
Join the 11th edition of the World Heart Summit, set to take place in Geneva, Switzerland, the epicenter of global health diplomacy, on 16 – 17 May 2026, ahead of the 79th World Health Assembly.
Trailblazers across government, business, civil society and academia came together to tackle some of today’s most pressing global challenges in cardiovascular health.
The Summit will open with the launch of the World Heart Report 2026, focused on congenital heart disease, and will feature high-level discussions on translating recent political momentum into concrete national action plans, universal health coverage, and sustainable health financing.
Across both days, attendees will engage with expert panels on a wide range of pressing topics, including the role of AI and digital health in building public trust, nutrition and food systems, urban policy for disease prevention, and the challenges facing low- and middle-income countries as development aid declines. A dedicated Ministerial panel will spotlight country-level efforts to control hypertension at scale, while additional sessions will tackle lipid management, behavioural interventions, and the next generation of health leadership.
The Summit will close with a joint plenary session alongside the NCD Alliance, focused on turning global political commitments on non-communicable diseases into measurable, real-world impact.
