Women’s Leadership and Diplomacy for Gender-Responsive Global Health

This GWL Voices event will bring together senior leaders and emerging voices to explore how diplomacy can amplify women’s leadership in global health. Women represent the majority of the global health workforce, yet remain underrepresented in leadership and decision-making spaces where global health priorities are shaped.

The session will examine how multilateral diplomacy can support equitable health systems, mobilize resources, and ensure global health agendas integrate gender-responsive policies.

Objectives include:

  • Highlighting the role of women’s leadership in global health policy and governance
  • Exploring diplomacy as a route to gender-responsive policies
  • Showcasing successful leadership and advocacy
  • Inspiring emerging leaders to engage in global health diplomacy
