Strengthening Medical Imaging Capacity to Prevent and Control NCDs
We are pleased to host a multi-stakeholder roundtable during the World Health Assembly to address systemic barriers and identify opportunities for strengthening global diagnostic imaging capacity across different care pathways for noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), such as oncology, stroke, and cardiovascular care. This session will build on the WHA76.5 Resolution on Strengthening Diagnostics Capacity and the proposed WHA Resolution on Strengthening Medical Imaging Capacity, and aim to create momentum for increased investment in imaging capacity, enhance NCD care pathways, and forge new partnerships for implementation.
The event is co-hosted with the Global Diagnostic Imaging, Healthcare IT, and Radiation Therapy Trade Association (DITTA) and supported by GE HealthCare and Philips.
