Strengthening Global Health Financing through Digital Infrastructure: Introducing HealthFund Hub
This high-level side event at the World Health Assembly, hosted by the Global Health Finance Coalition (GHFC), will introduce HealthFund Hub, a digital infrastructure initiative aimed at improving coordination, transparency, and efficiency in global health financing. While global health financing has expanded in scale and diversity over the past two decades, it has also become fragmented and complex. Funding information is scattered, requirements vary widely, and both funders and recipients face significant search and due diligence burdens. Private and philanthropic flows remain difficult to compare, limiting visibility and alignment.
HealthFund Hub addresses these challenges by standardizing how funding opportunities, institutional profiles, and proposals are presented and matched. The platform does not intermediate funding or set priorities; instead, it provides shared digital infrastructure, including verified profiles, aggregated funding listings, intelligent matchmaking, consortium-building tools, and ecosystem analytics.
