Powering-up action on climate and health: From politics to implementation
This launch event will introduce the Call to Action by the Pan-European Commission on Climate and Health, hosted by the Pathfinder Initiative in collaboration with the Commission. The session will present evidence and recommendations to advance the climate and health agenda in the WHO European Region and globally at a time when economic pressures, geopolitical instability, competing priorities, and mis- and disinformation are weakening political attention to climate action.
The programme will highlight:
- Practical, scalable climate and health solutions
- Evidence and case studies from the Pathfinder Initiative
- Perspectives from researchers, decision-makers, innovators, and other actors on accelerating implementation
- A networking reception with refreshments until 20:30 CEST
