Maternal and Child Health: Building the Capacity to Care

This virtual WHA79 side event by the Women’s Health and Education Center focuses on maternal and child health and the capacity needed to deliver quality care.

The programme will cover:

• Collective efforts to improve maternal, newborn, and child health
• Hypertensive disorders in pregnancy and postpartum periods
• Two-generation approaches to building healthy children and communities
• Maternal near-miss recovery
• AI for health from user perspectives
• Accessible design tools for contraception education
