Journey through Sudan Health System Resilience; Forgotten crise; 2 years War impact; and what’s next!

Sudan’s healthcare system has been severely impacted by
ongoing conflict, political instability, and economic challenges,
leading to widespread deterioration of medical infrastructure
and shortages of essential supplies. An estimated 15 million
people are in urgent need of health assistance, including
millions of displaced people. This side event shall explore how
Sudan’s health system showed remarkable resilience by tackling
the health system building blocks, share Sudan’s experience in
continuing serving Sudanese population despite challenging
operating environment and outline the path for health system
recovery, including learning from Japan experience in post-war
recovery.
