Building bridges: how national strategies can deliver interconnected care for cardiovascular, renal and metabolic conditions (report launch)

Cardiovascular, renal and metabolic (CRM) conditions are the leading cause of death worldwide, accounting for up to 20 million deaths per year.[i] While some progress has been made for people living with heart disease, many governments and healthcare systems are still missing out on a key opportunity – interconnected care and support for people living with CRM conditions.

Boehringer Ingelheim commissioned independent think tank Future Health to develop a report*, examining the impact of CRM conditions across the globe and what governments should be doing to deliver better outcomes for people and healthcare systems alike.

Join our panel of experts to learn more about:

  • Countries and healthcare systems that are successfully delivering this type of care
  • Key challenges and opportunities in delivering interconnected care
  • The impact of interconnected care for people, healthcare systems, and economies

*The report in this session was developed by Future Health and commissioned by Boehringer Ingelheim. The NCD Alliance did not input into the report and do not have oversight or ownership of its outputs.
