ASCVD Policy Roundtable: Advancing Prevention and Chronic Management Amid Rising Burdens

This invite-only BCIU roundtable will convene leaders from global institutions, civil society, and frontline health systems to discuss how policies can prevent ASCVD in younger populations while supporting comprehensive treatment, early disease detection, and improved patient outcomes.

The discussion will build on recent EU Safe Hearts Plan momentum to advance policy prioritization for ASCVD risk factors that cannot be addressed by lifestyle intervention alone. The event is supported by Novartis.

It will aim to identify actionable next steps for:
