Advancing Gender-Responsive Science for Global Health Equity
Ten years after the launch of the SAGER (Sex and Gender Equity in Research) guidelines, this event brings together global leaders from research, policy, publishing, and global health to take stock of progress and chart the path ahead. While SAGER has advanced more rigorous and inclusive science, important gaps remain. This is a moment to move beyond endorsement—towards accountability, stronger implementation, and lasting change in how sex and gender are integrated across research.
