Global Action on Menopause: An Invite-Only Reception Hosted by the Ministry of Health of Spain

The Ministry of Health of Spain, Menoglobal, and Global Health Strategies invite delegates to an informal reception making the case for menopause as a global health and economic priority. Despite affecting half the world’s population, menopause remains chronically under-researched, underrepresented in medical education and largely absent from health policy agendas — with profound consequences for women’s health, careers and well-being.

The reception will bring together advocates, policymakers, and partners around a shared goal: driving WHO action on menopause and supporting countries to take bold new policy steps to improve access to care for women everywhere. Through brief remarks and networking, the reception will provide an opportunity to learn, connect, and strengthen the collective push toward global guidelines and country level commitments that truly reflect the needs of women.
