New perspectives for the world without tuberculosis
This side event will take stock of the progress made and
challenges faced in achieving the WHO End TB Strategy; explore how countries are rebuilding momentum, highlighting recent
innovative and effective national practices in TB prevention,
diagnosis, and treatment; provide a platform for dialogue on
integrating TB responses into broader, resilient health systems
in the post-COVID era; and will emphasize the importance of
sustained political commitment, funding, and multisectoral
collaboration to eliminate TB as a public health threat by 2030.
